Macintosh '84?
| Well, as of 12:00 midnight on 8-24-95, Microsoft performed a historical feat. With one swooping multi-billion dollar release, they validated what we Macintosh users have been screaming about for the past 11 years -- that the Macintosh Interface IS the future of the Personal Computer. In my opinion (as well as the opinions of several folks over at Apple), all they're releasing is a rehashed version of System 6.0; and when System 6.0 was the hottest thing, it was back in the days that Apple didn't even charge for their OS. *chuckle* |
